Tweet Limit!

So today I finally got a tweet limit! I know it's nothing to be proud of, but hey it was on my bucket list! The New URL

If you haven't noticed yet, the URL of this website has just changed! Instead of "therant-3friends" it is now "therant-5friends!" YAY! An in class Language Arts assignment on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The assignment was to pass notes to the person next to us. I was person B. Person A will soon join The Rant as well! YAY! We also had to make a version with Elizabethan English, but we handed that in. It will be posted after it is returned to us. Until then, adieu!

Sold Out!

So of course One Direction THE BEST BOYBAND IN THE WORLD! YEA BUDDY! Sold out Madison Square Garden in under a minute! A record breaker! That's great right? Yea not so much. More than half the the tickets went to scalpers :( Now it's super expensive to get a ticket and none of my friends and I have tickets :( Well one of them does...happy for her but jelly too. So I guess I'l just get tickets for their 2013 tour then.......

Update

This an update on the blog. We have a new blogger cookieluvah - A HUGEEEEEEEEEE Oreo and Pokemon fan :D So yea the Hunger Games movie was great and we're all so sad that the director quit. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged! Cookieluvah's mummy is a BIG FAN and has been thinking up a strategy for sneaking into the wedding, now for all of you people going "wait I thought these people were American. We are. Lately I've been reading too much Sugarscape. I LOVE SUGARSCAPE! THEY ARE THE BEST! Love One Direction, Justin Bieber, The Wanted, JLS, Jessie J and more!? The Hunger Games

Now, then. The Hunger Games was one of the choices in the poll, and even though it a runner-up, it still gets a post. Something I've noticed about the Hunger Games is that ever since the movie came out, it's been HUGE. I've seen several jokes about it on the internet, and they're quite hilarious. The first thing I'd like to talk about on this topic is something that I find very odd. When we weirdos first read the book, no one knew about it. We had to read it for summer homework, and one day I took it to camp and no one had any idea what it was about. Then around the time that school started the book began to get bigger, and then, 1 and a half years later, the movie comes out. It's so weird, this book that we thoroughly analyzed, and discussed throughout the year, we had to do homework on it, it becomes one of the biggest things ever. Now, next thing, this whole teams thing. There's people that go around saying, "Twilight sucks, Hunger Games rules!" only for the next thing they say to be, "So, what team are you, Team Gale or Team Peeta?". Now that's just ridiculous people. Hypocrites. Bunch of hypocrites. The whole teams thing started with Twilight and you know it. Next thing, the people at the movie theater. Sometimes they were funny, sometimes quite annoying. A couple of friends went to a theater together, and they told me about how there were some girls sitting near them who were saying, "Oh my gosh, Gale is like, so HOT", you know, in that stereotypical annoying girl voice. In the theater where I was, the funniest part would have to be when Katniss kissed Peeta and then they showed Gale and he was all jealous, and everyone was going, "Oooooooooooooooooo...". I still laugh when I think about that. Okay, now I'm done, I strongly recommend watching the movie if you haven't yet, if you have, IT WAS GREAT, WASN'T IT?
BTW, did you hear that the guy who directed the Hunger Games isn't directing Catching Fire anymore? What if  Catching Fire doesn't come out at all?! Now that would just be terrible, that movie has great potential.

New Wierdo

The Worst Award Show Ever

A new weirdo is revealed! It is no longer three friends, it is four! So, anyway, I am cookieluvah, and I shall rant about the worst award show ever, the Kids Choice Awards. That was the worst night of my life, I don't even know why I watched it. In my opinion, all the wrong people won. Let's start with, Diary of a Wimpy Kid beat out the Hunger Games for best book series. And sure, sure, the KCAs are for little kids, little kids don't comprehend the Hunger Games, blah, blah, and then someone from Twilight wins. I would like it for someone to explain to me how on earth Twilight could possibly be considered child-friendly. And sure, kids like vampires blah, blah but those things on Twilight are not vampires, they are little twinkling faeries, what kind of vampire twinkles in the sunlight? Well, now, the most heartbreaking part of the show, the end. I was praying for Bruno Mars to win. And guess who does. Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber. It's one thing for Bruno Mars to just lose, but he lost to Justin Bieber. But I know, in my heart, that Bieber didn't deserve it. At least he got slimed. I hope it was really hot slime. Now, this ranting has brought me to a conclusion. The kids who voted are the future of our country. We're not looking too good for the future.
