Dreams, Aspirations, and Goals (Junior year)

HELLOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Wow, it has been a long time since I last blogged, since any of us have blogged here.
For me, Sophmore year officially ended about a month ago. I got my report card about two weeks ago, decent grades not bad. But now, it's the summer before junior year.
Even up to a month ago, I was freaking out about not having anything to do this summer! All of the interships I had applied to didn't accept me, I hadn't gotten any news about the job I had applied for, nor did I get any news about my volunteer applications which was 100% rude and panic inducing. I actually ended up landing my job pretty last minute and I was given two weeks to chill with my friends and hang before work started.
I seriously should have planned out my summer during those two weeks.
After work started (and it's only been one week) I have absolutely no time. I slightly regret getting my job but I'm getting paid to work with cute (some annoying) four year olds. Yes yes it's high maintenance but like its only 8-1:30 everyday (at least for me, Shruti has it 8-4:30 AND we get paid the same amount as of our knowledge so far... because we haevn't gotten our paychecks yet). It's $800 for all of our hours which is definitely less than minimum pay but, hey I'll take what I can get and it isn't too demanding of a job.
But, I will mention this again, it's the summer before junior year.
We have test prep to do and I have a ton of summer homework due to AP classes. The SAT and ACT are both changing this year WOOHOO! And I am not at a financial leisure to take both multiple times. I have to study for both take mock tests this summer and figure out which one I do better on and which one I'm more comfortable with to achieve the best scores possible for the future.
I have three AP courses next year. AP US History (which is bull because it's mandatory for all juniors and I have absolutely no skill nor understanding of history at all. Sure it's all memorization but it just doesn't work for me. I can memorize something in science I have no understanding of at all but in history it just doesn't make any sense and does not stick), AP European Literature (apparently my teacher is a stickler for grammar and I suck at grammer), and AP Biology (the only AP I might do well in). As you can see my schedule is already off to a great start. I haven't officially gotten it yet but as of right now I have APUSH 4 times a week, one time being a double period, the same goes for AP Euro (4x/week, one - double), for AP Bio though... I have it four times a week.... But three of those are double periods. I love biology so I am so so thrilled that I got in as a junior and I will have so much fun in this class but I am just going to rue my schedule if they dare to put my other AP doubles on a day I have an AP Bio double. I will die.
I also have mandatory Religion (4x/week, no doubles) and Religion is fine, but in junior year we have the dreaded Junior Religion presentation. It's a full period presentation in which you take something and use the religious context and present. I, for one, am very good at informational presentations and am horrible at including the audience. I don't understand why they need to. My intonation and description should make them interested no matter what (I'm totally kidding but I would consider myself a good speaker but I am not outgoing so what a waste of talent amirite).
Then I have Pre-Calc/AB Calc which is an honors math class (5x weeks, no doubles). And French. Goodness I hate French. I hate it with a passion. I hate it so so so so so so much. I suck at it and I hate it there is no reason I will do well in it. This will be my last year of french goodness sake get away from me.
OH, I'm also taking a Conceptual Physics class because I am a science freak and I want to take all of the science courses (except engineering it won't fit in my schedule next year probably) so AP Physics, AP Chem, and AP Environment are goals for senior year.
Hopefully I'll get an elective, but I feel as of right now that's too much but I really do want film. I love it but I don't know where I would get the time to do it mainly because I get way too into it.

My schedule comes out a day before classes start so... This is how it's going down as of right now.

I have five days of school a week, nine periods a day, 40 minute periods with five minutes in between.
= 45 periods a week
AP Bio = 7 periods a week
APUSH = 5 periods a week
AP Euro = 5 periods a week
Physics = 5 periods a week
Pre-Calc/AB Calc = 5 periods a week
French = 4 periods a week
Religion = 4 periods a week
Gym = 2 periods a week (unless I do a school sport)
= 8 free periods a week
That's alright.... That is going to be a change from this year. I had 11 this year and omg it was heaven. In Freshman year I had 6 and I wanted to cry everyday because of Latin oh my geesus my teacher was a genius so it was so hard to keep up.
If I get film = 2 periods a week
I will have 6 frees a week and that is probably not a good idea considering I had such a hard time in Freshman year, and the academia is much more challenging this year than last. And this year counts for it all.
For colleges...
