Weather

Oh look guys! I changed the theme to kind of wintery, but it's not even December yet! Why?
BECAUSE IT'S SO FREAKING COLD HERE!
I bet it is even colder in other places, but the cold came fast and hard here. It snowed some (very little, but meh) like a couple weeks ago. It's funny because the summer weather lasted till like mid-October and the next thing you know it's like 30 degrees outside ugh.
OMG I ALMOST FORGOT!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING PEOPLE! Be thankful for what you have, because remember, you probably don't deserve most of it, yet you still have it. :D
Today is my second day of break. I have to resume school on Monday. *sigh*
I have sooo much homework whenever I think about it I become depressed.
*sits in a dark corner and cries*
I did no homework yesterday, but I have to start today if I want to not stay up all night for the next 2 days.
As you guys have probably realized, this post isn't even going to be about weather anymore. Screw you weather.
I AM SO EXCITED FOR SATURDAY!!!!
instniallerlovely, Tay P., me, and a bunch of other friends from our junior high school are going to go to Koreatown! WOOHOO!!!!
MANY JOY. MUCH EXCITEMENT.
We are going to eat some food and walk around Koreatown hehe. It will be my first time in Koreatown so I am uber excited. First we were going to eat at a Korean BBQ place, but then realized we don't have enough money for that haha so we are going to eat at a food court place called Food Gallery 32. Yup, from Korean BBQ straight down to a ramen shop lol. It's good food and not as expensive. They don't JUST sell ramen - they sell many other Japanese and Korean foods, and when I looked at the menu I was LITERALLY BOUNCING UP AND DOWN because there were so many foods I had seen being eaten in anime or Korean dramas!
I need to buy chopsticks. The one gifted to me by Tay P. wore down, like a lot. lol yes that's how much I used them.
We were going to go to a noraebang (karaoke) but one kid thought we were "going to get mugged and get forced to drink booze" and said he wasn't going. =__= No one cares about his opinion anyway. But then one of our other friend's parents said she wasn't allowed to go so now we aren't going. (Yea Lisha is more important than you Kevin.)
Right now, we are trying to think of some other cheap activity we could do that day too, not that eating and walking around is boring or anything lol. The paranoid booze-drinking one wants to watch "Catching Fire", but that's out because 1) the movie costs $15 each and that's too much, 2) it's not a social activity, and 3) why would we spend $15 to watch it once when we can watch it infinite times illegally for free?! *cough* *cough*
But anyways, I am really looking forward to meeting all my old friends again. I'll write a post on Saturday and keep you updated.

Bronx Science Sexual Harassment

As some of you guys may know, all of us bloggers are freshman in high school and to tell the truth, sometimes I wish I had been born a year earlier. I've missed out on some pretty dramatic events that have occurred in the past year. I know that no matter when I enter high school, I will have always missed something, but I seriously feel left out. As many of you probably know nothing about Bronx Science here is a quick run-down.

The Bronx High School of Science is a specialized public High School in Bronx, NY. As of 2013 it is ranked #2 in the state of New York and  #34 in the United States of America (Public High School Ranking). Those are all of the logistics, but I know that all of you guys are reading this for the gossip.

Two major events that I missed out on are ex-Principal Reidy's resignation and the track team scandal. I'll have another blog post about principal Reidy because she was more corrupt than Somalia.

The track team scandal was huge for Bronx Science. After the Stuyvesant cheating scandals, Bronx Science had this golden crown of virtue and morality. This scandal changed that.

The reason why this thing is a huge controversy is because the teachers believe the  allegation full-heartedly and the students think it's bullshit.

So what was the scandal about?

Freshman Micheal Webber of the Bronx Science track team stated that three junior boys had sexually harassed him in the locker rooms. I don't think I need to go into further detail with this.

New York tabloids tend to exaggerate everything, look at what the Daily News writes on a slow news day. However, some students say that the tabloids were unfairly implying that the juniors were at fault, even before the trails had even started. The former editor of the school newspaper wrote about this topic here:

Some reasons why students are ruling out the possibility of the scandal include, knowing the juniors who were accused, and locker room common sense. The locker rooms are locked three minutes after all students are changed and ready to go and only unlocked at the end of gym/sports practice. When changing for sports there's an average of 20 people in the locker rooms at all times. Now, there could have been an instance where the doors were accidentally left unlocked. However, it seems that everyone who knew these juniors are backing them up because they're all good guys and would  never do such a thing. Some students say that even though the guys track team likes to tease each other, no one would ever do what the juniors were accused of doing because that's just too gay.

Whatever the case is I have come to two conclusions. We will never know what happened because there are no cameras in the locker rooms. Because we will never know Michael Webber will be the most hated person in Bronx Science as all the students have ganged up against him.

Sorry for the messy writing, but I just really wanted to write this.
