8.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Japan
As you may know an earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9 hit near the east coast of Honshu, Japan this morning. After the earthquake, tsunamis with waves up to 24 ft. tall have struck several parts of Japan. Up to 300 bodies were found in the city of Sendai in northeastern Japan, an area believed to have been hit hardest by the massive waves. The waves have washed away, farms, cars houses, and even a hotel. Boats at port were seen battered and on their sides. The waves also washed a large amount of debris inland and fires have been reported throughout the area. This earthquake has been the 5th largest earthquake since the start of the 20th century. It has been Japan's largest earthquake in over 140 years. The shockwaves after the earthquake are still happenning. Warnings were issued for more than 50 countries and territories including Russia, Indonesia, Central American countries like Guatemala, El Salvador and Coasta Rica, along with the United States and Canadian coastlines. States that currently have tsunami warnings are Hawaii, Alaska, and California. The earthquake lasted for more than 5 minutes. We will keep Japan in our prayers and try to help in anyway we can.

ReplyDeleteGLOBALWARMING!
It just proves my theory and the beliefs of others that the world is going to end sometime soon!
According to Hindu beliefs, the 10th avatar named Kalki is supposed to come before the world ends/purifies itself by natural disasters and rid the world of evil beings.
When is he going to come!
