Madonna

As some of you guys may know August 16th is Madonna's birthday. This year I went theough a bit of a madonna phrase. So as a late tribute for Madonna's 55 birthday I guess I'll share some songs with you guys and you guys can all tease me for my fascination with madonna.

Madonna is one of the most well known female singers of all time. She is the embodiment of 80s/90s pop culture. She has topped multiple Forbes lists charts for anual earnings and for being a cultural icon. She has sold over 300 million records, known as The Queen (of pop), started a lot of the major fashion trends in the 80s, and was also an infamous gay icon back in the 80s.

I personally like her 80s songs more than any of her other songs. 

So this first one is probably the most sexual out of all of them, but compared to stuff today I think your ears will be able to handle this.
"Like A Virgin" by Madonna (1984?)

"Holiday" (1983)
This has to be one of the first songs I ever heard from Madonna. Even though it's probably somewhere at the bottom of my favorites lists it's pretty sentimental for me.

"Who's That Girl" (1987)
I really didn't like this song at first, but then I kinda got addicted to it. I sing it to annoy my sister every chance I get.

"Like A Prayer" (1989)
Probably one of the most iconic songs by Madonna (in my opinion).

"Open Your Heart" (1985)
One of my favorite songs by Madonna. Nuff said.

"Papa Don't Preach" (1986)
This is kind of like "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson, but from the girl's perspective.

"Material Girl" (1984)
I have fallen in love with this song ever since Walk Off The Earth did a cover of this. This ladies and gentlemen is where stuffing money in your bra came from.

This has to be my favorite Madonna song of all time. Don't judge me.
