Photography Camp ^_^

Hello my smexy mushrooms okay so I'm I'm currently suffering from post camp depression I'm going to write a post about it to try to lessen my pain.

I did a photography camp at New York University and it was called iD Visual Arts and let me just start by saying that camp was so much fun!

I'm pretty sure that there's an ID visual Arts at Yale and Princeton and some other universities, but I'm really glad that I chose to do I do it at New York University because after all I am a New Yorker and New York is one of the most iconic cities in the world so it was no surprise that international students came to New York. There were actually three international students in my camp at iD Visual Arts and  there was a girl from Massachusetts and from Alaska and the three international students were from Australia France and Poland it was really cool. It was great getting to know different cultures and you learn about how Australians say lolly for candy and how thongs are slippers and then you  subconsciously use mate every now and then. It was a very very eye opening and it was a great experience it was nice learning about how the Polish start drinking very young and it was great learning about the dirty minds of Europeans, it was absolutely fantastic. We also had a lot of inside jokes. When you walk into New York University there is a row of clocks telling you the times from different cities around the world and there was a New York clock and a Brooklyn clock. If you guys don't know Brooklyn is a part of New York but for some reason the Brooklyn clock was 4 hours ahead of the New York clock so that kinda came a joke. Like, hmmm I wonder what time it is in Brooklyn and, you know you need a passport to get to Brooklyn and since I came in from Queens, hmmm i womder what time it is in Queens, its only like three hours ahead right. It was awesome and if you guys notice there's an arch in Washington Square Park and the Ark is basically copied from Paris so that was a joke too and it was just a lot of fun and for the first couple days we stayed around Washington Square Park around the East Village area around the Soho area and we just took pictures of everything and then I believe up by the end of the first week we went to UVPhactory and if you guys don't know what you UVPhactory is, it's an animation company and they do a lot of animation did the Power video Kanye West and they also did some animation for the Smurfs and they did a commercial for Nike Air.
They just a lot of great stuff I recommend that you guys check them out so yeah that was great and then um we went to the High line and we went to Chinatown we want to we went to Central Park to and it was just a lot of fun we formed a strong bond because there's only about six kids in my photography class there was two students in film and there was about three students in special effects. Actually there's actually one more international student. I forgot about her she was from Turkey and she actually have to leave halfway through to go back to Turkey for a family thing.
I just feel really grateful that we had such a great group because not all groups got along well, but we got along really well and we still keep in touch. You just know that groups going to be a good group when there's a bromance. So overall I really enjoyed my experience and I made some great memories <3

    1. It's uber expensive so I would suggest looking for cheaper alternatives before raking out almost $3000. I don't think I can do something like that again lol
